What this platform does

ONCHAINSCANS lets you look up public blockchain data — wallet balances, token and contract details, and researched airdrop information — by pasting an address, hash, or ENS name. You do not need to create an account or connect a wallet to use it.

What we don't collect

We don't operate a backend server for this build, so there is no account system, no server-side database, and nothing you type is transmitted to us or stored on our infrastructure. We have no way to see what addresses you look up.

What's stored locally on your device

If you use the Watchlist feature, saved wallets, saved tokens, tracked airdrops, and your recent search history are stored using your browser's local storage — a small amount of data kept only on your own device. This never leaves your browser, is never sent to any server we run, and is cleared if you clear your browser data or use the "Clear all saved data" option in the app.

Third-party services we call

To show live data, your browser makes direct requests to these third parties when you use the corresponding feature:

• Public blockchain RPC nodes (e.g. publicnode.com, llamarpc.com, Ankr, Binance, Polygon, Base's own public endpoints) — to read balances, contract data, and resolve ENS names.
• CoinGecko's public API — for token prices, market data, and trending tokens.
• Google Fonts — to load the site's typefaces.
• cdnjs (Cloudflare) — to load a small hashing library used for ENS name resolution.

Each of these providers may log standard request data (like your IP address) according to their own privacy policies, the same way any website you visit would when your browser requests fonts, scripts, or API data from a third party. We don't control what these third parties log.

Cookies and advertising

This site does not set its own tracking cookies. If advertising (such as Google AdSense) is enabled on this site in the future, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, which can include personalized advertising based on your visits to this and other websites. You can review or opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings.

Security

We will never ask you to enter a seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, or password. If a page, pop-up, or message claiming to be ONCHAINSCANS ever asks for one, it is not us — do not enter it anywhere.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the platform's features change. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
